Commissioned by the University of Melbourne, Studio Peter King developed the exhibition design for Silent Hand Catches Silver Bell at the Grainger Museum, celebrating 25 years of Speak Percussion. The exhibition traces key works across the ensemble's history through more than five installations, each merging graphics, lighting and kinetic sculptural elements with interactive displays, brought into conversation with one another and with the Grainger Museum's permanent collection.

"Polar Force" transformed a single wing of the museum into a darkened gallery, its techno apparatus set on a mirrored plinth and flanked by two large-scale projections from the original performance, with visitors listening through headphones lifted from custom stands. At the museum's entrance, "Pigeons" — one of Speak Percussion's most recent works — positioned a bright orange custom trap machine and wing-wands from the original performance aimed toward the courtyard, where a replica of the stage scenography was recreated to evoke the scale of the piece. The exhibition also featured a new commission, "Fans," developed by artist Melanie Huang in collaboration with Speak Percussion.

The exhibition's visual identity, designed by Tana Mitchell, carried a signature orange through the text panels and labels, unifying the show's graphic language across each installation.
